Not exactly life threatening, but:

Now I live in the GMT+10 timezone, and since it's summer here at the moment we're currently in daylight savings time, which means we're currently running on GMT+11. However, the forum doesn't realise that DST is in effect in my part of the world, and as a consequence all the posts I see appear to have happened 1 hour before they really did.

Now I can handle the mental translation no problem, or I could simply just trick the forum by changing my timezone to somewhere out in the ocean, but I'm assuming that anyone else in the southern hemisphere may well be suffering from the same problem as me.

Therefore, in the interests of helping the many many southern hemispherical people (and not just me), could someone look into seeing why MT doesn't realise that Australia is currently in daylight savings mode?

Thanks :)

EDIT: Ok, I just discovered that if you un-tick that "Automatically do the DST whatever" thing, then another check box appears that was not previously there which allows you to manually specify whether or not it's currently DST. So I've ticked that and everything is as it should be now... I guess this means you can disregard this "bug" then.

I thought they nerfed that? Does it really do what I think it was supposed to do on the ice? mush1i.gif

What's with this critiquing of other people's presents? Isn't the point of getting Christmas presents to be gifted things from other people that they think you want? Getting gaming equipment that's no longer trendy isn't a problem if you've never had one before (do people really get different platforms to be popular? I thought it was to play the games available on them). And while a drum may only produce a single tone, a drum set will surely produce a variety of different notes.

Yeah. Produce bangs of different notes. An awesome electric guitar is badass, padded tubes aren't.
Doesn't a drum set also come with those cymbal things that are neither padded, not tubular?

backontrack: I've heard that a friend is buying me a DVD (from another friend who bumped into her while shopping). Since there's a few less relatives this year I can count on getting a little less money weirdface7ut.gif

EDIT: included a forward-in-time quote mush1i.gif Take that, continuity!

Some kind of unfortunate typo there? mush1k.gif
