Pirate Training Guide!

-----------------------------------------
Version List
0.1 Beginning stages of the guide, and started the first list.
----------------------------------------

Hi Everyone! I'm Sonic123. You probably saw my Archer training guide in the Archer Section. So I have a little experience with writing these kinds of guides. I am going to explain recommended Place to train for Pirates.

There will be one for Brawlers and for Gunslingers. They will be listed in 10-15 or 20-25 lv formats.
Some will be listed in just lv 30 or lv 30-31.

ARE YOU READY? (I'm not)

Here is the table of contents (for Reference)
----------------------------------
1. The Beginner

2. Brawlers 10-30

3. Gunslingers 10-30

4. Brawlers 30-70

5. Gunslingers 30- 70

6. Brawlers 70-120

7. Gunslingers 70-120
-----------------------------------

1. The Beginner

1-7. Green Snails as they are the easiest to train on until lv 7. Or to my experience.

7-10. All the Quests or do them all until after 1 quest you reach lv 10.

After This... Go to Nautilis Port and Kyrin in the command Center. (Use Hidden-street.net as a reference)

2. The 10-30 Brawler

10-20 Alternative to grinding. Henesys Party Quest in the Park. The whole quest will give you over 1500 exp per run if you succeed.

10-15 HHG1 a.k.a Henesys Hunting Ground 1. Train on snails or Slimes! Remember to use somersault kick when mobs of 2 or 3.

10-15 Alternative to the HHG1 is the Slime Tree in Ellina. They have many Slimes in there, and don't forgot to bring potions.

15-20 HPQ at the most or Pig Beach

20-30 KPQ or Kerning Pq consist of 4 people going through a 5 part party quest.

20-23 Alternative is Pig beach or Ant Tunnel

23-30 Alt is All Ant Tunnel. It will be grinding, but it is worth it.

Thats it for that Section.

2. 10-30 Gunslinger
10-20 Alternative to grinding. Henesys Party Quest in the Park. The whole quest will give you over 1500 exp per run if you succeed.

10-15 HHG1 a.k.a Henesys Hunting Ground 1. Train on snails or Slimes! Remember to use .

15-20 HPQ at the most or Try pig beach

20-30 KPQ or Kerning Pq consist of 4 people going through a 5 part party quest.

20-23 Alternative s Ant Tunnel

23-30 Alt is All Ant Tunnel. It will be grinding, but it is worth it.

3-7(Not completed until later)

Now you have finished maple island this will be the next section of the guide.

I forgot stat builds! 1 STR and 4 dex every lv.

Now go to mushroom park in Henesys [you should be lv 10 with 47,46,or 45 dex.] You will find Athena Pierce and ask her about being a bowman. You talk to her and you finally become a bowman! Now put your first skill point into arrow blow and here are the builds.

Beginners Mage Guide

Version History
Version 1.0:Guide is up and Running
Version 1.3 Did some fixes
Version 2.0 started to add 2nd, and got 2 more builds
------------------------------------------
Why should I be a Mage?
1 of the many reasons is that it can make money in the early 2nd job. Best 1st job, and really high MP. Here are some the pros and cons.

Pros:
High Mp
Great Money
Best 1st job
Etc.

Cons:
Really Low Hp
Cant survive without Magic Guard on bosses and powerful monsters
Some say they have lower damage in the 3rd job? Not sure.
If you are reading this and not making a mage I suggest you might stop reading now.

Stats: #1 The perfect stats

#The really lazy Build

?=same as before
Beginning:
You are on Maple Island Right? If you are take the Training camp. Do all of the quests.

After You finish, Here are training suggestions
1-7:Green Snails because you have very low damage range. These are the lowest monsters you will find in the whole game.

Once you reach Level 7 do all of the quest on maple Island except for Mays and Biggs.

Then Talk to Shane and get out of Maple Island for good. Unless you are in China Maple Story.

Then you appear at Lith Harbor. Talk to Olaf and do his quests. Pick the Path of the Magician.

Then talk to Phil I think by the Ticket Booth and click on Ellinia. Go to the very top and go in the giant house. Talk to Grendal the really old. He will make you a Mage. YAY! mush1n.gif Go to your skill book and see that you have 1 skill point. Put that one into Energy Bolt.

Now Mage Training place and Builds! But First Skills! Credit to Hidden Street for help.

Said to be the best mage class. Has cold beam which can freeze! They has Thunderbolt which is a mob skill that can hit up to six eneimies!

Cleric
The weakest, but most wanted in pqs and parties. They have heal which can heal a lot of hp to party members and yourself. It can also damage undead enimmies.

Mage Training

19 December 2007 - 06:25 PM

Version History
-------------------------
1.0 Got the Guide up and running
1.3 Minor fixes and easier to read
2.0 Guide is fixed completly, and now much easier to read and understand.

If You are new to Maplestory and are having a hard time training your mages? Then read along.
There are many places to train, but these training places are my own opinon. There might be more training places, but these are simple ones too. This is a training guide that only goes up to lv 30.

Here is a Run Down:
1-8:Green Snails. This is a must. You can also do some quest for quicker leveling. Dont do Mai's 2nd quest, and biggs quest. Do olaf's quest it will save a lot of time in the long run this quest gives you 365 Exp. Pick the path of the magician. The Hair quest is optional, but can give you 500 Exp i think.

8-10:Snails at Henesys Hunting Ground aka HHG. If you are funded go to slime at slime tree. This is a slow leveling for the non funded, but it is worth it.

10-15:Slimes at Slime Tree at Ellina Check Hidden-Street. Go to Hidden-Street.net to find the map.

15-20 and 15-18. The Funded go to pigs and the non funded go to slime and orange mushrooms. Pigs are at pig beach, and you can ask where pig beach is. Slimes and Orange mushrooms are at HHG.

20-25 Kerning Pq at 23 for more magic claw. Or Pigs for everyone. I am not going to explain Kerning PQ since many other guides do it.

25-28:Ant Tunnel or PQ. Ant tunnel you should kill Horny Mushrooms and Zombie mushrooms. Ant Tunnel is located at SleepyWood.

28-30: Now at these lvs you should PQ because everyone will accept you almost everyone minute. You have earned this moment as the strongest first job character in Maplestory for now.
