I accidentally reverted captcha on the wiki when updating it. The wiki now has recaptcha which should take care of this problem. Thanks for all your help

The server upgrade has been completed but DNS is still being updated for the next 72 hours. You may notice www3 and forums3, this is only temporary and you can safely ignore this.

We've been getting reports that people's account has.. gone back in the past! Due to that issue, everybody may have to do all the lost hard work again but Nexon may give us a 2x exp to help us get back up.
Did anyone else lose any items? Some have lost millions in their transactions!

It's time for another MapleTip Event and we're now looking for fan fictions! Test your skills in writing by creating a fan fiction based on MapleStory and you'll have a chance at winning a $10 Nexon gift card. The contest winners will be determined by vote so you better make it look good to the masses out there!
Here are the rules:
There will be two winners and your fan fictions will be featured on the Wiki.
Winners will receive a $10 nexon gift card
Submission deadline: June 27, 2010

We're ready to throw some more events for everyone out there. After many months of trying to gain the "mapletip" handler for twitter, we have finally gotten it! Now, we will spread the love with you.
For this contest, all you have to do is become a follower of MapleTip. Then, on June 6, 2010, I will randomly choose somebody for the sweet prize of a $10 Nexon gift card.

Anyone that has ever gotten their account hacked knows that the PIN system that's currently in place is kind of useless especially when people can just crack the PIN. There are only 4 characters anyway..
However, if anyone has used Paypal or logged into battle.net using their new "authenticator" system, you should know that it's much safer to log in than before. Here's how it works:
Hopefully, we can get Nexon to implement this and stop a lot of hacking that's been going on.

- You buy an authenticator or install the application onto your phone
- Register the serial number to your account
- When you log in, you must enter the code given to you on the phone or the authenticator.
