SO....
You want to make a Cleric, huh? You don't know what you need to do? Well, then this guide will be the thing to read!
If you need help with a priest, then this guide is NOT the right guide.

ENJOY! :D

Here's a very simple and easy-to-read guide!

I.] Level 30
============
So you've created a magician, right? And you're level 30, too...So if you want your JOB ADVANCEMENT then go to ELLINIA.

Go to the very top portal, and talk to GRENDEL THE REALLY OLD. You will receive a letter from him. Then go to the FOREST NORTH OF ELLINIA [to the left of Field North of Ellinia] and go to the MAGICIAN JOB INSTRUCTOR. He is on the very top of the map. He looks something like this.

Posted Image

Go in and fight monsters in there. [it's pretty easy.] Collect 30 DARK MARBLES and Exit. You will see you have a PROOF OF HERO. Go back to GRENDEL THE REALLY OLD and talk to him and MAKE SURE YOU PRESS CLERIC when he asks you what job you want. Once you are done, start jumping around the room the room. BUT WAIT! What about your free SP point? >:D

II.] Skills

Posted Image
Teleport
MAX 20

Spend 13 to 60 MP to travel 130 to 150 pixels in distance.

I really think this skill is not that useful, but you can show off with it. It kind of wastes MP, but if you level it up enough, the MP required is lessened.

LLAMA RATING: 1.5/5

Posted Image
Heal
MAX 30

Heals 10 to 300% of your HP [Not counting hp Equips] to all party members [including you] for 12 MP or 24 MP depending on the level.

This skill is really useful! [Probably why you chose this awesome class] You can heal party members as well as yourself. You get EXP for healing others, and you can mob attack undead monsters. You NEED this.

LLAMA RATING: 5/5

Posted Image
Bless
MAX 20
REQUIRES: LVL 5 Invincible
Boosts WDef, MDef, accuracy, and avoidablility by 1 to 20 for 10 to 200 seconds.

You might want this skill as a buff. Using this skill in PQ areas attracts warriors. Plus, it looks really cool. Helpful. I've tried this many times. In CPQ.

LLAMA RATING: 4/5

Posted Image
Holy Arrow
MAX 30

Basic attack 12 to 70 and mastery 15 to 60% depending on level.

Looks cool, but you should stay with Magic Claw. This skill looks really cool with tele-cast.

LLAMA RATING: 2/5

Posted Image
MP Eater
MAX 20

For every cast, 11% to 30% success rate, and absorbs 21 to 40% of the enemy's MP.

You should put 1 point into this skill as soon as possible, because it will save you a pretty good amount of money. This should be really helpful for training. Plus, it is passive, so you don't even have to think about it! :D It works with any damaging attack. [So it drains, miss or hit.]

LLAMA RATING: 4/5

Posted Image
Invincible
MAX 20
REQUIRES LVL 5 Heal
Reduces monster physical attack by 11 to 30% for 15 to 300 seconds with 15 or 30 MP depending on skill level.

This requires 5 heal, but you will max it out anyways. This is not party, so it won't attract many people in PQs. HOWEVER, it lowers the touch damage received, so it might be useful when you're stuck. Helpful to have at hand; not very useful when fighting magic attack monsters and bosses.

LLAMA RATING: 3/5

So you've seen the skills: here's how to put them in!

III.] Builds

RESULTS:
Heal: 30 MAX
Invincible: 20 MAX
MP Eater: 20 MAX
Bless: 20 MAX
Teleport: At least 1/20
Holy Arrow: At least 10/30

NOTE: I save SP because after that level in skill, the MP Requirements double. Plus, you still add points into something. I was funded 1 Mill. mesos.

*From here down, you can switch Holy Arrow with Teleport, depending on which you like better. I like Holy Arrow, but sometimes people like Teleport.

Some points from Blade Oracle:

A couple of points:
1. You should always max heal as soon as possible. I notice in your first build you put it off for 5 levels, which I believe would hinder training greatly. I also think that saving points won't save you as many pots as you think, and I'd rather train that much faster.
2. You should always max teleport in any build. It grants you insane mobility and I never travel without it. There's also that part in GPQ that requires it, but that's a small point compared to teleport's overall usefulness.

Party Build

30: 1 MP Eater
31: 1 Teleport, 2 Heal

65: 3 Invincible
66: 3 Invincible
67: 1 Invincible, 2 Holy Arrow
68: 3 Holy Arrow
69: 3 Holy Arrow
70: 3 Holy Arrow

RESULTS:
Heal: 30 MAX
Invincible: 20 MAX
MP Eater: 20 MAX
Bless: 20 MAX
Teleport: 20 MAX
Holy Arrow: 11/30

NOTE: This is for people who like to PQ and wish to CPQ or LPQ. This is my version of the build [i would feel much better if I used this compared to the other]. You won't get most of your skills early on, however.

IV.] Training

By IchibanNeko

level 31-39 -- You now have heal so you can attack and attack and attack till
you run low on HP and heal and get back to killing. I strongly suggest
fireboars at this point. There are many place you can find them they are easy
kills and you get good experience. You could try Deep Valley III or anything
in The burning zone

level 40-42 -- Your heal is maxed, yes, but here I disagree with jumping
headlong into Zombie lupins. Level 40 through 42 you still miss often in the
tree. At level 40 I think jumping B2 and killing jr. wraith or going after
more fireboars.

level 43-50 -- Zombie Lupin time!!! Find your own channel in Monkey forest
two or Share a tree in Monkey forest one. And live by the rules of Clerics
if someone is there before you and ask you do move do so, it saves you fame
and your temper. If someone invades your areas ask kindly for them to move.
If not.. Its a killstealing war. =(

level 50-57(or 60) -- B3 all the way. You will have to jump it a lot but you
will memorize the timing quickly. The exp and drops are great finding a free
channel.. isn't. But again please follow the simple cleric rules.

level 60+ -- Zombies Zombies Zombies. Ossyria's zombies are nice to kill here
there are a lot of free places. The exp isn't bad but the drops are horrible
and looonnngg in between. Be careful of the stunning jets though ^_^. I don't
blame any cleric that is willing to stick to B3 till 70 and between

There's some bad grammar and such [reminds me of myself], but does a good job summarizing training spots. I killed zombie mushies for a while up to about lvl 38, then went to the subway where the jr. wraiths are to lvl 40~ish. Then I CPQ'd to lvl 47.

============
V.] Equips
============
I don't recommend getting all the equips [after personal experience], so here's the bare minimum.

MALE:
LEVEL 8

THIS GUIDE IS INCOMPLETE.

How am I doing so far? Please comment! :D
And yes. I am level 47, but I have friends that are lvl 70+.

2/5 because I'm nice. Lacks personal input that's not describing how the skills look.

all you need is 10 points in heal and then every time you heal 100% of your HP is healed. And good point in the teleport, but I just used speed equips or the beginner Nimble Feet. Plus I don't GPQ.

Teleport is much much faster than any speed boost (e.g. max haste pales to teleport).

Also, heal is your main attacking skill when training, so you use it not only defensively but offensively, and thus should max it out quickly.

To be quite honest, I think you should play a lot more before writing a guide. I myself have been playing since early beta and still needed a ton of help from many other people to help refine my training guide (although training is not as set-in-stone as a character build).

Some reasons that make me say this are some things that you wrote, which can be misleading, such as:
"I really think this skill is not that useful" when referring to teleport.
Splitting points between MP Eater and teleport. It is generally much better to have a maxed out skill than a couple of half-maxed skills.
"Might be useful when you're stuck. Helpful to have at hand" when referring to invincible. Invincible should always be activated, and won't exactly save you.
And mainly, what I mentioned before with heal. Heal is also an attack, and should always be maxed first. Clerics aren't the easiest class to get into a CPQ and regular training is much faster for a cleric than any other class.

Also by my guess, the training guide you pulled is probably outdated. A long time ago, zombie lupin trees were all the rage and people would put in etiquette for getting a map. Hardly anyone trains there now, although they still are a good place. Additionally, fire boars are far inferior to the minidungeon in Sleepywood (with zombie mushrooms, as you mention), which is possibly the best training spot for any class around that level.

Personally, I'd never max invincible last. I maxed Bless last, because I hardly partied in 2nd job, but I knew it was a requirement in 3rd job partying.

A diverse Cleric is the best imo. Solo in the 2nd job, but party in the 3rd job.

My build was Heal > Invincible > HA > Tele > Bless. I do have 1 MP eater.

Thanks to Faded
