Decent, but the sword is slightly curved and the sprite needs work.
7.8/10
7.8? 7.8!? What's with people using decimals without qualifying their scoring system? And what does "needs work" even mean? Are you saying it's too small? Too dark? What?
This comment is like everything I hate about feedback from lay people. 2/10.

Drawn and colored while watching Lisa Lamponelli attempt to be funny.

Hello, bored. (Doodle over drawing because heck if I'm actually going to spend that much time on this.)
Pose and anatomy are generally okay, besides hands and legs which need detail consistent to what you've done with the upper body. (They're like a line each away from turning into flesh-coloured mittens/shoes.) To be clear, I don't really care how messed up your hands and feet are. What's important is that you're putting in the time and effort, ie. not hiding or abstracting them, and I think you can invest a little more in this case.
For lighting, there doesn't seem to be a proper source, so you might've wanted to choose the yellow floaty for that purpose.
Probably the biggest problem here is the black pencil crayon making the picture look messy. The colouring and shading become difficult to read. If you took away the outline, the resulting image wouldn't be able to hold itself up.

For a moment I thought the sprite was a floating, glowing heart.

Huh, come to think of it.
do one of ShichoMiyazuki's drawings
Okay!
You get brownie points if you noticed the Tenchi Muyo! inspired title.
Anyways, I'm probably due to post a Maple related drawing since it has been eons. So here you go. I haven't Photoshopped anything recently seeing as my tablet is about to kick the bucket. But I managed to whip up a a little something
Enjoy~![]()
source: http://forums.maplet...or-maple-story/ Why this one? I just went into artist's corner and ctrl+f until I found something by her.
since topic is locked w/e. No comments this time, but questions are welcome as always.
nvm I do have a comment:
Thanks for the critique. I made his nose like that because, in reference to the parting of his hair, it shows that he is tilting his head downwards. Thus, skewing the view at a certain angle. His nose would be like that if he were facing front.
LOL

HOLY I REMEMBER THAT
That's some extremely good artwork. Especially how it manages to be Maplestory artwork, but still have realistically proportioned characters. The snail is cute.
Not to sound nitpicky, but the nose on the guy seems a tiny bit too large/the point on it is too low. (It my just be me though. I'm not really good at evaluating art or anything)
Was I really such a nicey-wicey nitwit back then?

The "nitpick" wasn't even incorrect, but there are 528521854 other things off about him and this picture in general. At least the response she gave was gold.

I know, right? Never mind the fact the drawing makes it (likely unintentionally) appear they both have Downs.

There's nothing wrong with being nice, really! Sometimes it's the motivation people need to keep going.
