Okay so I want to make MTD more fun, have more events and do more things. So I came up with an idea today to involve everyone from MTD, yet still have it in game...

I was thinking it would work like this... kind of a leveling race. I'd have to think of exactly how it works, but we would say that in a given amount of time, whoever can level the fastest wins. Now you might think, "well if this isn't my server, why bother? I can't do anything with the prize" Well here's why: I may buy 1 or 2 nx cash cards and give away the code! Also fame on MT will be awarded along with whatever mesos I have saved up or maybe the staff can raise my meso count to give it away for the event.

So basically:
Where? Maybe Scania, but we'd all have new characters so there's not really home base advantage, or we could host it in a totally different server where theres no branch. But my thought on having it in Scania is that I have pleanty of room in the guild so for the events sake and to spread the name of MTD during the event, I invite everyone participating to the guild. It also would help me keep track of people participating

Why? Fun!! Also we can finally get everyone together for one awesome MTD event, like the good ol' days when Stephen hosted events.
When? I dunno I'd have to decide.

Because I don't have exactly how it's gonna work planned, I will take any suggestions. Or even a totally different event suggestion but would still involve us all being together.

How about everyone just creates a new character on the same server, no funding at all (no way to monitor this, but yeah..) same class, etc. Like everyone would start at the same time, and would be a Blaze Wizard. I dunno.

Yea that's basically how I was thinking on how it'd go. All in same server, all start at the same time. we'd meet in the first map on a certain channel and all begin at the same time. At that time people can change channels if they wish.

I was thinking if someone chooses to, they can form a 2 partner team and party together (once they are level 10 or whatever level it is you need to be to form a party).

We can run the event with no funding, or we can run it where everyone is supplied with 50-100k to start them off. But I would like to have it in Scania that way we can all join MTLegacy to spread the name of MTD in a way.

Also we can either decide to be all one job or jobs of our choosing. Basically the whole point of this event is to show that you're the best and fastest. Things not allowed would be leeching, joining other people's party outside the event, etc.

I guess step 1 would be luring people to join MapleTip and MTD. I mean, MapleTip does look really dead these days.

I think we should have it in either bera, khaini or broa to try to get new members to join then the event could help with recruiting maybe

You could hold an event for that lasts for 3 hours and the highest lvl wins at the end of those three hours.

You could also hold an event to the first one to lvl 30 or 50 or something and have a larger prize for that one.

Yea I was thinking that. Maybe 2-3 hours but we'd also have a race to a certain level.

Well, the servers I have no funding are Bera, Khaini, Yellonde, and Demethos. I didn't include Mardia because I think my leftover characters MIGHT have mesos on them (or might not). Scania, Broa and Windia, I'm funded so I might be tempted to use stuff I have there... .__.

That would be a one server event seeing as you would need your own characters, the point of this is to get all servers in on it. Besides this is a different type of event.

But you need to decide whether or not to Cygnus or not to Cygnus. Because Cygnus > Regular Classes and we all know this. So if you had some CK and some normal, it wouldn't be fair.

I guess a race to L10 is possible, it would only take at most an hour for any of the classes, L30 would be a bit longer, perhaps 20 hours playtime. And it should go without saying but just-in-case NO Orbis/Witch item turn-ins to Level-Up.
