Google Wave invite event!

Hello all,

Looking for a Google Wave invitation? Well here's your chance!

In the next week, the top 5 people who post on the most on the forums will get a nomination for an invitation. That's right, all you have to do is post a lot on the forums.

Here are the rules:

1. You may not get a single warning starting from today until the end of the event.
2. Forums in which posts do not count do not count toward the event.
3. Limit one invitation per member.
4. Current Google Wave members are not eligible to particpate
5. You must have a MapleStory account.
6. You must have a MapleTip forum account
7. Multiple accounts are not allowed
8. You must abide by the rules of the forum
9. You must sign up in this thread to participate

Failure to abide by the rules will result in disqualification.

So remember to post a lot, follow the rules, and sign up in this thread!

Hello all,

It's been a while since a weekly update has been posted and we apologize for that. Basically, either I (Matt) or Craig have had computer issues and in the time that both of us were functioning together, the rest of us just became accustomed to not posting updates weekly and I apologize again.

Basically I'd like to inform you all what has been going on the past few weeks and a few plans going on, that will hopefully update some people who are already members and maybe motivate some of you guys to join who aren't yet members.

When I came back after my computer issues I immediately attacked our first issue, MTD Khaini which was in a bit of a rough spot. I'm happy to say that our Khaini branch is for the most part on track again though could still use a bit of work. Also Flamechocobo our Bera MTD leader has worked diligently on also increasing the activity level of his branch as well. Scania and Windia as well are in great shape. Broa could definitely use some work, but that is basically at the top of our list of things to do.

We also are again in need of a MTD Broa branch leader. Whether permanent or temporary (though preferably permanent). If you are interested please click the appropriate link listed at the end of this update.

Also, there is two events in planning right now for MTD members. Both of their links can also be found below along. To join MTD, please click the corresponding link to the branch you would like to join.

Comment System Update & Event Managers

The commenting system has been fixed to allow comments to be entered. It seems that a recent update broke it and now that has been resolved. Also, searching quests works again, thanks to all that have reported the bugs!

Finally, we are looking for people to add to our friendly team. Essentially, you will go around MapleStory hosting events sponsored by MapleTip. You'll get a monthly budget in which you should use to spend on MapleStory related items and gain visitors to the site. (You'll even be able to keep a small portion of the money!)

1. What is your schedule like? How much time do you have?
2. How old are you (be honest and I will find out)
3. What kind of things will you do?
4. How often do you play MapleStory

MapleStory on the iPhone!

A fan has created a mockup of how the UI would look on the iPhone. It looks very interesting and it's worth a look.

Only thing that seems hard to manage would be the number of active spells you have and the fact that you need to use potions and recharge skills simultaneously (especially when you are fighting a boss!

MapleStory Patch v0.78 - Quick bug fixes!

Looks like the latest patch brought some pretty bad problems (including problems with crashing when using trade!)

It'll be fixed in tonight's patch though, so don't be alarmed.
