What about if someone makes an app that allows you to solely train your character in all available places. Maybe you can interactwith others as a selectable setting. It would already be hard to type and fight on the iphone. Maybe there could be minigames to train your character instead of quests and you can get items. Or maybe an app that lets you logon and just do repeat quests. ( like if your doing a jump quest, you can do it over and over again.) I don't know, whatever Maplestory app is made for the iphone I'll be happy. mush1n.gif

or oldschool runescape it.. if the server doesn't get a signal back or anything from your iphone it just logs you out after x seconds.. probably resulting in death

Some points
1) Lol he's poooor
2) Menu is a clusterlooovvve...
3) Whoa, you can hold the Strafe button for extended periods of time.. That's actually pretty cool.
4) You'd have to lay this on a desk or something because generally people use two fingers at a time. You couldn't jump while moving and use a potion at the same time. Or throw stars in the air (sins mush1d.gif )

Well, there's no Off button, it just locks the phone.

But hitting the home button means game over, since no app can stop the Exit function. If it was an offline, light version of MS, it'd probably have an autosave function, like many game apps do.

1 problem: what happens if you hit the home button or the off button?

Technically, it does "work", just it's complete garbage.

That app could work if they released a wireless, separate and lighter version of MS, with actual pausing features and the like.

Realistically, it'd probably cost a large amount in the App store, and probably would be a massive monetary loss for the company that spends the money creating it.

Hey all, im new here so please correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't it be impossable to add a pause function into a game that is online, that means you would pause all the monsters in a map where only one person goes to his/her menu.
so unless the people who wanna pause the game are somehow teleported to some empty map it wouldn't be realistic to add a pause function.
i would rather have some kind of scroll menu on the side of the screen where you can select what you need, and then like when you open your items menu, change it into a scrolling menu for the category of the items you need. and then change it into a scrolling menu with a list of the items in the chosen bag. just a little idea that makes a good use of the touch function on the iphone. that would solve the complete pause issue.
just haven't figured out yet how to do it with the chat screen. mushundead.gif

Well you could have a version of MapleStory that isn't online similar to the Nintendo DS.

Or more easily just use the same system as when you enter the cash shop. You ll be "logged out" until you close and get back. That would be the ideal in my opinion atleast mush1n.gif
