Despite the fact that there are several threads asking questions about Ludibrium, where to find the PQ, and whatnot, I have decided to use my knowledge of Ludibrium from jMS to create this guide. Hopefully, this will tell you what to do with your production manuals, where to find the Ludi PQ, and what lies at the bottom of Eos Tower if you haven't been there before.
I have not simply compiled information I've found in scattered threads - I am basically using my knowledge of Ludibrium from my Japanese MapleStory experience. Note that certain NPCs are not yet translated to English as I have not been to Ludi on Global. With Ludibrium having been released in jMS for several months, this guide will be 98% correct.
If you have any questions, leave them in this thread and I will get back to them. Please also contribute translated NPC and accurate quest names and provide screenshots of them when you get the chance. Thanks, and enjoy!
**NOTE** If the word (untranslated) is by a title in the Table of Contents, that means that the title has not yet been translated or hasn't had its name confirmed. If you see an (incomplete) by a title, then I have yet to finish that section.
Table of Contents:
1. Ludibrium PQ
2. Nemi's Lunch Delivery (untranslated)
3. Just Another Day at Work (incomplete)
4. Nemi's First Ingredient (incomplete)
5. Nemi's Second Ingredient (incomplete)
6. Nemi's Third Ingredient (incomplete)
7. Cleaning Up the Inner Parts of EOS Tower (incomplete)
8. Cleaning Up Deeper in the Innter Parts of EOS Tower (untranslated)
9. Cleaning Up the Outer Parts of EOS Tower (incomplete)
10. Threat of Eos Tower (untranslated)
11. Peace in Eos Tower
12. The Lost Guard
1. Ludibrium PQ
Level Requirement: 35~50
Materials: Party of 6 people; should include an archer (any type) or assassin, a magician (must have Teleport), and a cleric at minimum. You may also include a Bandit with a high-leveled Steal, but avoid having too many close-ranged party members (spearmen with Hyper Body are good, though). Try to have your party members at least level 40. You will also want to bring Holy Water and Eyedrops, or Perfect Medicine for the boss.
Pre-requisite: none
This party quest is far more advanced than your average Kerning City PQ. It consists of 9 stages, including the Boss stage. Before you do this, make sure you can set aside at least an hour to complete it, as some stages may take longer than others if you are not efficient (can be completed in less than half an hour).
First, check the Materials list above. Your party should consist of an archer or assassin, any wizard, and a cleric AT THE BARE MINIMUM. Any class will work, but try to strategically invite members - a party of 6 warriors is completely obsolete, but a party of 6 wizards won't get anything accomplished either. Why? You'll find out a bit later. ONE LAST ESSENTIAL - DO NOT TALK TO THE SOLDIER UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE THE PQ. Talk to the Balloons in each stage to advance (party leaders).
To get your party into the PQ, go to Floor 101 of Eos Tower (above Floor 100, duh). Talk to the Red Stop Sign and enter. Only one party may enter at a time, and you must enter with 6 members. The minimum amount of people you can complete the entire PQ in is 5.
--STAGE 1--
A straightforward stage. The monsters in this stage will be:
White Mice
Black MiceEach mouse drops a pass that will allow you to advance to the next stage. There is one platform in particular near the top of the stage that can only be attacked by ranged characters. Use an Assassin with maxed Haste or a Wizard/Cleric with Teleport to reach it.
Collect 25 passes and obtain 3000 EXP as your reward. Advance to the next stage (read before going through the portal).
--STAGE 2--
The most efficient way to complete this stage is to send in one or two people to the stage. These two people will go in and hit the second box from the top, which will warp them to a different room. They will then tell you if it's "OK" to enter the map now. The rest of the party shall do so and hit all the other boxes to get passes. Meanwhile, the others you sent in first will get the passes in the other room. DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSES! The other room cannot be entered more than once, so be careful.
Also, ALL PEOPLE ON THE MAP will get sent to the other room when you hit the second box from the top, which is why I suggested sending in one at a time.
Gather 15 passes for a reward of 3600 EXP. Now advance to the next stage (all members).
--STAGE 3--
Entering this stage, you'll find these monsters all over the place
.Your objective is to collect all the passes from these Bloctopi. Simple as that. Just remember to break all the boxes you come across, as that will release 3 more of the Bloctopi for you to kill for passes.
A common mistake I've seen in my days of PQing was that there was a "lost pass" at the end - be sure to check all the corners for the pass. Often times, passes will get hidden behind the walls because a Bloctopus was killed in a corner. There is no such thing as "corner kills," so don't think your pass was lost because of doing so. Just check the corners!
Acquire 32 passes for your remuneration of 4200 EXP, and advance to the next stage.
--STAGE 4--
This is a pretty tricky stage if you have no clue what to do. There are portals scattered throughout this map, and the trick is to go in them and kill the "ghosts" for passes.
From the top, these rooms are numbered 1-5. Call out which room you will go to by saying "1" or "2" or "3", etc. It is more efficient to each go into separate rooms. Now, remember how I said you should include a variety of classes? This is where the Magicians AND the other classes can shine.
The ghosts
in rooms 1, 2, and 3 have a weakness to magic attacks. Therefore, they have high weapon defense and are only efficient for magicians. The monsters in rooms 4 and 5
have a weakness to PHYSICAL attacks. Therefore, they have high magic defense and are only efficient for NON-magicians. Room 4 is the only room with 2 monsters, so send in 2 of your party members to go in there. Please be polite and not enter another room that your fellow party member is in (unless it's room 4, which sometimes one member can handle by themselves). They would like their own fair share of EXP, too. Let your party know when you are done with your room so there is no confusion in the end.
Collect 6 passes for a reward of 4800 EXP.
--STAGE 5--
The party must split up into different rooms again in this stage. Each member must take on a different room, as there are 6 rooms here. From the top, they are numbered 1-6.
Send your Magician w/ Teleport to Room 1, as the passes are only accessible by them. Your Thief must go to Room 6, BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! The King Block Golems are a one-hit KO, regardless of level (only in this PQ). Therefore, your thief must have Dark Sight activated at all times and must recast it in safe areas to avoid dying. All King Block Golems in this stage are a 1HKO, so be careful!
All the other rooms are safe for any class to go to. Again, make sure you let your party know which room you're going to and when you've gotten all 4 passes in that room to avoid confusion.
There are 24 passes to collect, and a reward of 3800 EXP.
--STAGE 6--
Again, very straightforward. There are boxes for you to warp on in a specific order. Mess up the order and you'll get sent back to the bottom.
The order of the boxes is 133 221 333 123 111. Write down that code or memorize it, as this is a very quick process. Be careful! Sometimes the blocks will get mixed up to confuse you. Quickly check to make sure that you are warping with the right one so your party won't get mad at you for slowing them down.
There are 0 passes and a reward of 0 EXP at the top. Bummer.
--STAGE 7--
Your Assassin or Archer will go up to the top in this stage and kill the Mice/Bloctopi at the top. DO NOT KILL MORE THAN 1 AT A TIME OR YOU WILL LEAVE TOO MUCH WORK FOR THE REST OF YOUR PARTY AT THE BOTTOM. I cannot stress this enough! It is extremely rude to kill all 3 at the same time before your party has killed a Rombot as you leave very little room for your Archers/Assassins to kill.
So what happens when you kill the monsters at the top? A Rombot appears at the bottom for you to kill for a pass! Be careful. Unlike a normal Rombot, this one can summon Block Golems to get in your way. They will not drop Passes, but you must kill the Rombot to obtain one. Make sure to jump when it's about to tremble the floor.

When all 3 Rombots have been killed, you will have acquired 3 passes for a reward of ??? EXP (please post how much the reward is at the end of this stage). Advance to the last stage before the boss!
--STAGE 8--
Hopefully, you have a good deal of time left when you reach here. It is a long and complicated process and cannot have any mistakes. Make sure you have at least 5 members for this stage, because it is necessary to complete it.
Position your members on the blocks so that they go in numerical order. Like the Kerning PQ, your leader will click the Balloons to see if your combination is correct. If it isn't, the person on the highest number moves to the next highest number.
The boxes are labeled like so:
1 2
3 4 5
6 7 8 9
Just follow the same pattern as you would with the barrels, but be sure to go in precise order or you will mess up and have to start over again, and that wouldn't be fun!
There are 0 passes required, and a nice little 5020 EXP reward.
--BOSS BATTLE--
The final stage in this PQ, and possibly the longest one if you don't come prepared. Make sure you have all your buffs before you enter. Have one of your ranged characters kill the Black Mouse on the platform. It will drop a pass - KILL THE MOUSE SO THAT THE PASS DROPS RIGHT ON THE PLATFORM. This is a mistake that I've grown extremely frustrated at, because the pass must be in contact with the box in order to summon the Boss.
=========
BOSS: Alishar
=========

Level: 56
HP/MP: 125,000/2500
Resistant to: Ice, Fire, Lightning, Holy, Poison
Inflict Status: Seal (locked skills), Darkness (accuracy down)
Accuracy: 160
Avoidability: 26
Weapon attack: 280
Weapon defense: 210
Magic attack: 260
Magic defense: 240
This is no King Slime. There is a very small chance you can successfully solo Alishar, and magicians won't fare extremely well if they don't use Magic Claw. Assassins and archers make for good combat, which is why I suggested at least level 40.
Alishar can also summon Chronos
, Platoon Chronos
, and Master Chronos
. The level of the Chrono he summons is proportionate to the amount of HP he has remaining. It is important that you have someone, possibly a Cleric, eliminate these ASAP. They will easily interfere with your attacks and cause a lot of lag if they aren't killed immediately. Also, remember that earlier I listed some items you'll need - Perfect Medicine or Eyedrops and Holy Water. Only magicians don't need to bring Eyedrops as the Darkness infliction doesn't affect them. However, you will DEFINITELY need Holy Water/Perfect Medicine as Alishar will seal you from time to time. From past experience, bring at least 30 of each and it'll last for a couple of PQs.
When you kill the boss, he will drop a set of keys. Give this to the Balloons for your final reward of 5950 EXP.
--BONUS--
If you defeat the boss, you will be able to go to this stage. It's a 1-minute stage that's a box-breaking, item-collecting extravaganza! Be sure to call top and bottom when going here, and don't break boxes that someone else is already breaking. Also, be sure not to steal any equips that came from someone else's box.
You can find any of the 5 basic color Napoleon's (red, green, blue, white, black) or earrings (Skull, Cat's Eye, Heart, etc.).
After a minute, you'll be taken to the exit.
--EXIT--
Need I explain more? Just talk to the soldier here to collect your final reward and you may exit! You can collect scrolls, potions, common (class) equipment, and more!

--Frequently Asked Questions--
I will be adding this as people ask them.
2. Nemi's Lunch Delivery
Level Requirement: none
Materials:
Nemi's LunchPre-requisite: none
A very simple quest. Talk to Nemi
(she is located in the cat mouth-shaped house in the neighborhood district of Ludi--near the middle section of houses) to receive Nemi's Lunch and take it to her dad, Manager Karl
(Credit: Suri for the name). He is located in the Clock Tower (the toy factory in the middle of Ludibrium). Just go down the chutes (hidden warps) that have arrows pointing down into them. When you get into the toy factory and see an NPC to the right of the map, it's him.Reward:
+ 750 EXP
+ 4500 mesos
12. The Lost Guard
Level Requirement: none
Materials:
30 Helly Propellers,
30 Chirppy GogglesPre-requisite: none (repeatable each day)
Since many people want a quicker way down EOS Tower, I've decided to write up this section as a top priority. It's a very easy quest, although time-consuming and extensive considering the amount of walking you have to do up and down the tower. However, the reward is worth it in the end.
On the 93rd floor of EOS Tower, you'll find the Lost Soldier.

Talk to him to activate this quest. It looks like he wants you to get some items. Go to the outer part of the tower (92nd and 91st floor) and you'll find an abundance of Chirrpy monsters. Kill these to gather 30 Chirppy Goggles. It helps to be ranged as they are pretty quick and annoyingly fly around the map a lot. However, you can kill them even if you have to walk up to them.
Now for the 30 Helly Propellers. Since it's not easy finding Hellies in the area with the Chirppies, go further down the tower. Once you hit the outside again, you should be in an area with a LOT of Hellies (and possibly Planeys). There's a good spawn of them down here, so gather as many as you'd like (it'd be smart to get enough to do this quest over the next day so you don't have to walk as much). Once you're done, climb back up to Floor 93 and talk to the Lost Soldier
Hand over the items and you'll receive the reward you've all wanted.
Just a quick reminder that in order to warp, you'll be talking to these statues:

Warp 1: 100th Floor
Warp 2: 71st Floor
Warp 3: 41st Floor
Warp 4: 1st Floor
Reward:
+ 20 EOS Tower Scrolls

Fixed minor errors and added how to get Tower Scrolls. Enjoy!
