Do you has a desktop or a laptop? Regardless you shouldn't need new fans, you just has to clean your old fans. I'm assuming you're using a laptop, 'cuz last time someone had a thread like this, I suggested an icepack as a temporary fix. Anyways, just crack open your laptop (not literally, unscrew it) and clean off the fans, including the heatsync over the CPU. I believe you can remove them quite easily. Remember, if you can't gently ease it out, don't force it, or you maybe breaking something. You can get a store person to do this if you're not confident.

Not so sure I agree with the last part, but the beginning is true.

If you're installing a fan for a desktop, find a place on the case with a grill or an open area where you can mount it. Then, depending on whether it connects to the PSU or the motherboard for power, connect it to a connector from the PSU or the pins on the motherboard where it says CPU_FAN, where N represents a number.

But before you install a fan, cleaning out dust would help.

If you have a laptop, you can buy a targus cooling pad for like 30 bucks. They work insanely well. I got one. XD

Much thanks to an anonymous person (Faded) for creating the sig. ^^
