Fire
Poison
Mage

1. Please Read!

This guide is not an F/P wizard guide, and seriously there is no point for a F/P wizard guide since the pq's overwhelm in experience to pure grinding.

The information in this guide is not 100% accurate and is based on my experience, but still you can trust me and this guide.

Please make sure you don't flame me for any wrong information or if you simply disagree about a certain feature. You can easily just post the mistake instead of "OMG THIS PERSON'S GUIDE SUCKS! WHAT A MISTAKE!"

Anyway that's pretty much all I want from you guys. Now for the guide!

2. Appropriate Builds

Note: For those people who have no idea about a F/P mage and decide to use a build like this...

Level 70-80: Explosion
Level 81-90: Compo
Level 90-100: Poison Mist
Level 101+: All The Crap Stuff

If you use this kind of build then consider yourself an useless reviewer and also ignorant. Nexon obviously doesn't let us simply choice the three uber skills for maximum leveling potential. Each and every skill impacts the leveling and gaming experience.

First let's see the skills...

Explosion
Description: Make an explosion around the character. Attack the enemy with the fire power.
Max Level: 30
Type: Active

Level 1: Use 21 MP, Attack 60, Mastered 15%, Attack Range 110%
Level 15: Use 35 MP, Attack 94, Mastered 35%, Attack Range 150%
Level 30: Use 50 MP, Attack 120, Mastered 60%, Attack Range 200%

Added Explanation: Explosion is a relatively normal skill compared to Fire Arrow. The speed looks slow but is actually normal. Explosion with a level 11 booster will only be a tad bit faster. You will be able to cast a few more times with booster. Explosion's range is immensively large. It can hit up to two platforms in a regular sized Ludibrium Dungeon map.

Poison Mist
Description: Make a poison fog around the character.
Max Level: 30
Type: Active, Passive

Level 1: Use 21 MP, Attack 32, Mastered 15%, Attack Range 110%, 41% Chances of Poisoned for 4 Seconds
Level 15: Use 35 MP, Attack 60, Mastered 35%, Attack Range 150%, 55% Chances of Poisoned for 20 Seconds
Level 28: Use 48 MP, Attack 86, Mastered 60%, Attack Range 200%, 68% Chances of Poisoned for 40 Seconds
Level 30: Use 50 MP, Attack 90, Mastered 60%, Attack Range 200%, 70% chances of Poisoned for 40 Seconds

Added Explanation: Poison Mist is a self-explanatory skill. It's range increases as the level does and the chance to poison. Poison Mist's passive attack starts when the monster is poisoned which can be done by making the monster stay in the fog to let it be poisoned. At certain levels, monsters can be killed by simply using any attack (mustn't miss).

E.g

Risell Squids, Death Teddies, MDT's, Bonefish, GP's all die in one damage at Poison Mist's Level 22+
Phantom Watches, Grims, Sharks all die in one damage at Poison Mist's Level 25+

Magic Composition
Description: Uses fire & poison-based spell on a single enemy. Applies massive damage to monsters that are weak against fire or poison, and the enemy will be poisoned on a set success rate.
Max Level: 30
Type: Active, Passive

Level 1: Use MP 14, Attack 80, Mastery 15%; With 41% success rate, poisons the enemy for 4 sec.
Level 15: Use MP 18, Attack 124, Mastery 35%; With 55% success rate, poisons the enemy for 20 sec.
Level 30: Use MP 22, Attack 150, Mastery 60%; With 70% success rate, poisons the enemy for 40 sec.

Added Explanation: Think of this skill as Fire Arrow + Poison Brace. BUT! There is one thing you must all know. Magic Composition is divided into two elements of damage.

75 Fire Damage
75 Poison Damage

That means when you are fighting a fire-weak monster you will deal...

150 Fire Damage
75 Poison Damage

If you fight a monster with an elemental weakness of both fire and poison you will deal...

150 Fire Damage
150 Poison Damage

If you fight a monster with elemental resistance of both elements...

37.5 Fire Damage
37.5 Poison Damage

Elemental Amplication
Description: Use more MP, but Increase Magic Attack
Max Level: 30
Type: Passive

Level 1: Use 105% MP, Magic Attack 102%
Level 15: Use 170% MP, Magic Attack 120%
Level 30: Use 200% MP, Magic Attack 135%

Added Explanation: This skill increases your magic attack drastically. It is a big difference in power. Composition already deals uber damage but another 35% magic attack slapped onto it makes it godly. There is a risk however, do not learn this too early or unwanted meso loss is certain because this skill is passive.

Partial Resistance
Description: You get additional resistance from Fire & Poison
Max Level: 20
Type: Passive

Level 1: 23 % Increased Fire & Poison Resistance
Level 10: 50 % Increased Fire & Poison Resistance
Level 20: 70 % Increased Fire & Poison Resistance

Added Explanation: This skill is utterly nothing compared to the other F/P skills. However a level 1 PR is very good. Instead of the +2% Resistance/Level you already get a 23% increase at level 1. Sacrifice one SP from other skills to put one here.

Seal
Description: Seals up the enemies around you for a certain amount of time. Once sealed up, the monsters can't use attacking skills, but the skill does not work on boss monsters.
Pre Requisite: Elemental Amplication (3)
Max Level: 20
Type: Active

Level 1: Use 12 MP, 38% chance of sealing up for 10 sec.
Level 5: Use 12 MP, 50% chance of sealing up for 12 sec
Level 10: Use 18 MP, 65% chance of sealing up for 15 sec.
Level 20: Use 30 MP, 95% chance of sealing up for 20 sec.

Added Explanation: I would say you should leave this skill and move on at level 5 since it has a 50% chance to seal. You can max it (or near max) later whenever it becomes necessary. Seal will help you save money by a ton. Seal disables a mob to use magic attack temporarily.

Booster
Description: Uses up a significant amount of HP and MP to increase the attacking speed for spells.
Pre Requisite: Elemental Amplication (3)
Max Level: 20

Level 1: Use HP 58, MP 53 to boost up the magic attacking speed to level 2 for 10 sec.
Level 10: Use HP 40, MP 35 to boost up the magic attacking speed to level 2 for 100 sec.
Level 11: Use HP 39, MP 34 to boost up the magic attacking speed to level 3 for 110 sec.
Level 20: Use HP 30, MP 25 to boost up the magic attacking speed to level 3 for 200 sec.

Added Explanation: This skill is best left at level 11 forever. At level 11 it has the same magic speed increase as a maxed level booster. The only difference is the time and cost. You wouldn't want to waste 9 points just for such a minor difference.

Explosion Build

Level 70: 1 Elemental Amplication (1)
Level 71: 3 Elemental Amplication (4)
Level 72-77 1 Explosion, 2 Booster
Level 78: 2 Explosion (7), 1 Booster (11)
Level 79-85: 3 Explosion
Level 86: 2 Explosion (30), 1 Elemental Amplication (5)
Level 87-94: 3 Elemental Amplication
Level 95: 1 Elemental Amplication (30), 1 Magic Composition (1)
Level 96-104: 3 Magic Composition
Level 105: 2 Magic Composition (30), 1 Poison Mist (1)
Level 106-114: 3 Poison Mist
Level 115: 2 Poison Mist (30), 1 Seal (1)
Level 116-119: 3 Seal
Level 120: 2 Seal (19), 1 Partial Resistance (1)

Result

30 Explosion
30 Poison Mist
30 Composition
11 Booster
19 Seal
30 Elemental Amplication
1 Partial Resistance

Description: This build will allow normal speed of leveling relevant to Poison mist. Still! It is the most fun build to choose. You will be using a considerable amount of money.

Poison Mist Build

Level 70: Poison Mist (1)
Level 71-79: 3 Poison Mist (28)
Level 80: 3 Elemental Amplication (3)
Level 81: 3 Seal (3)
Level 82: 2 Seal (2), 1 Booster (1)
Level 83-85: 3 Booster
Level 86: 1 Booster (11), 2 Explosion
Level 87-95: 3 Explosion
Level 96: 1 Explosion (30), 1 Elemental Amplication (1)
Level 97-105: 3 Elemental Amplication
Level 106: 2 Elemental Amplication (30), 1 Magic Composition (1)
Level 107-115: 3 Magic Composition
Level 116: 2 Magic Composition (30), 1 Seal (6))
Level 117-119: 3 Seal
Level 120: 2 Seal (19), 1 Partial Resistance (1)

Result

30 Explosion
30 Poison Mist
30 Composition
11 Booster
19 Seal
30 Elemental Amplication
1 Partial Resistance

Description: This build allows a very fast leveling experience. You can expect to reach 90 in no time. This build also allows you to use explosion at an earlier level. The 5 Seal at the lower level allows you to go to sharks and other mobs that constantly use magic attacks at you. Explosion's leveling come just right before you reach level 90. Your leveling speed will be constantly be the same as more SP's go into various skills.

Magic Composition Build

The build for Composition is quite same to the explosion build so you can refer to that. Simply change explosion (in the first levels) to Composition and vise-versa.

Description: This is the most boring build in my opinion. This skill is not an AoE skill meaning you will carry on with the usual arrows. The exp gain is slow but speeds up as soon as you start with AMP. Your damage will be very high reaching numbers you have never discovered.
