This is a new class that Im working off,

It starts off as

Beginner > Warrior > Samurai > Daimyo.

Anywhoo you just level up to 30 and choose the samurai advancement. Instead of going to the guy in the cliffs you go to Zipangu and find the new NPC called Feudal Lord.

You do the basic killing and get the dark marbles. When you get the "Certificate of the Samurai" from the Feudal Lord and return it to Dances with Balrog.

You'll gain 250 HP and your MP changes into Energy. (I'll explain energy later)

You gain the 1 SP for your skill tree.

Not bad, although Mental Focus, being active, and Berserker, being passive, and katana mastery sort of cancel each other out don't they? 50 acc - 30 acc + 30 acc (from mastery) = 50 acc.

I would say that Berserker should be an active skill, and would miss 30% of the time regardless of accuracy. And +50 ACC is broken.

It took a while,

and for Beserker I messed up and put -30 when I meant to say 30%,

Sorry for the wrong wording.

and I'll possibly nerf the Focus and make it 30 ACC @ Max.

*shrugs* we already have a set of warrior classes, but it would be nice to be able to get a 2 weapon melee specialist in the game, now that would rock but would either wind up being too overpowered or underpowered because there would be only certain pairs of swords, daggers, axes, and maces that could be used

but honestly it is a fairly well thought out class

But did someone have the time and go through step by step what each skill does, and how it affects you?

I think this was well thought out. Just work through the kinks and try to make it flow smoothly.
What is the Black Star? Is it the cat with the black shades, the black car? Is it shinin from very far, to where you are? It is commonplace and different. Intimate and distant. Fresher than an infant

I think if anything the Ninja would be a new class, not a new branch of an existing class (an existing class that already has 3 branches at that, and even MORE sub branches...)

Like how they made the new pirate class, I can see them making a full set of 8 classes, 4 of them on the main island of Victoria while the others are on stray island(Like the pirate town).
You thought of the skills well I might add, very unique there, it's way better than if someone just suggest "we should have ninja's" and thats all, or put skills like "flash jump, critical hit, savage blow" just to make a super class.

I can easily see KMS coming up with a ninja class, why keep it at an uneven 5 classes? And Ninja's vs Pirates, I'm sure they know about that.

Ninja's, Pirates, Necromancer(maybe a more unique name since it's MS?), um...Chuck Norris!
Yea, those are ganna be the 2nd set of classes in maplestory >:O
Of course if you pick Chuck Norris you automatically get a Zhelm upon advance and 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 SP and AP
