AVG says it's a Trojan Horse Downloader.Generic5.DAB...
I've Googled it and this other guy had it in his "NexonUS" folder, also. Other people say that it changes its name if you try to remove it? O_____O;;
I'm paranoid now.
I'm tempted to backup my important files and just format it.

So... help please? @_@

According to several sources, it doesn't only affect people with MS... or anyone with a Nexon game for that matter, as I see some people have it in C:/WINDOWS/ or in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ w/o even mentioning the word Nexon in their process logs.

I'd backup important files and then use measures to remove it.

I have this file and it seems to only be a little over a 100 kb... I really don't think its a virus cause I tried 2 scanners and neither said it was. I think AVG just thinks it is because it may be the gameguard thing that scans your pc for open stuff.

If that file is for GG, then it would only be located it the Nexon folder or any game folder that uses GG (like GunBound). But, like I said, I've looked into several cases, and many people who don't even have a game with GameGuard installed still have that file in their Windows folder.

I don't really know, but if it's scattered in random folders, and since it's in other folders sometimes it's not part of MS, it could be some trojan or virus of sorts. If you're really worried, back up your important files, and then try to deal with it.

;_;

I don't think I should worry too much, I guess.
But just to be safe, I'm gonna backup everything. >_<

Well they must've had a Nexon game installed at one time or another...
